PUMPS&VALVES and maintenance 2024

Back to the familiar point in time and in the established “double pack” at the Dortmund trade fair in Germany

Decision-makers and employees from industrial maintenance should have this date in their calendars: On February 21st and 22nd, 2024, the industry will meet again in Dortmund, Germany – at its leading trade fair, maintenance. This means that the trade fair has returned to its original date close to the beginning of the year – and it will again take place together with “PUMPS&VALVES”.

There are enough exciting topics for exchange. The ongoing digitalization is just as important as the discussion about sustainable maintenance. Established and well-known exhibitors will make a contribution to this, as will new exhibitors and startups, for whom there will once again be a separate exhibition area in the form of the Startup Area.

A quick look at the list of exhibitors shows how diverse the range of products and services will be again: Conrad Electronic (electronics distribution), Filteron (industrial filters), Endress+Hauser (measurement technology/process automation), SAP Germany (ERP software), Schaeffler Technologies (drive technology), SparePartsNow (spare parts), SEW-EURO-DRIVE (drive and control technology), WISAG (maintenance services) and YN-CORIS (industrial park operator), to name just a few.

The numerous new exhibitors also create a “colorful” picture: ADLER Direction, DAW SE, Efaflex, Henkel, JEMA Tech, Künemund Sealstechnik, Schindler Solutions GmbH and Sitech Site Services are taking part for the first time this year.

The two premium partners of maintenance – IFS Ultimo and Wisag – have once again chosen this prominent position at the trade fair. Both represent an exciting and important field of industrial maintenance. Wisag Industrie Service Holding AG is one of the leading German industrial service providers and, in addition to “classic” maintenance, also offers services in the areas of technical cleaning, facility management, production logistics, production support and industrial assembly, among others.

IFS Ultimo stands for the ever-increasing IT and software level of maintenance. The company is a provider of the leading enterprise asset management cloud platform “Ultimo”: a SaaS solution from IFS that focuses on maintenance and security. Here the software scores points, among other things, for its quick implementation and great ease of use – visitors to maintenance will be able to try it out.

Parallel to maintenance, “PUMPS&VALVES” will take place again in 2024 after three years. As a trade fair for industrial pumps and valves, it offers manufacturers such as APS Industrie-Technik, Börger, DICKOW, DÜCHTING, FLUX, HERMETIC, KAMAT, John CRANE, Lutz Pumpen, MSG Sealingwerk, NETZSCH, Sebitec, sera ProDos, SERO PumpSystems, STB, Vogelsang, WP -ARO, ZUWA and many others the right forum and with maintenance also the suitable environment in which both trade fairs can leverage synergies.

Maria Soloveva, project manager maintenance and PUMPS&VALVES Dortmund at Easyfairs Deutschland GmbH: “The ‘tandem’ of maintenance and PUMPS&VALVES has simply proven itself. Pumps and valves are a practical and useful addition to core areas of maintenance.”

As a knowledge center for the industry, the supporting program for both trade fairs will, as usual, be broad and offer exciting topics. Maria Soloveva: “The program is not completely finalized yet – we are working flat out on it together with our partners. What we can already reveal: The ScienceCenter, organized in collaboration with Fraunhofer IML, will again play a central role in maintenance. The topic will be Predictive Maintenance: Next Generation. The topic of sustainability, which was taken up at the last trade fair in May and met with a very positive response, will also continue to be pursued at both trade fairs.”

Interested visitors can get an idea on the homepage of both trade fairs. Registration has already started for both trade fairs: visitors can now register on the website. Entry into the world of innovation costs, as usual, EUR 30. Free tickets are now available from the exhibitors at both trade fairs. Visitors not only experience access to two trade fairs on both days, but also a wealth of additional benefits and can look forward to a “double pack” of industrial trade fairs with interesting discussions and lots of innovations.
