How gear pumps can be optimized for polycarbonate production through proper configuration and comprehensive analysis. A case study of a particular challenge where the customer first changed his process and then increased capacity. In the future, polycarbonate production can be done without the toxic component phosgene, making it safer and more environmentally friendly. WITTE has designed and manufactured the required pump for customers. The process was very special in its requirements, so many manufacturers turned down the customer for the development of the corresponding pump.
