Inspection
The inspection is an important service for pumps and essential in maintaining an installation’s availability. Regular inspections are intended to check the pump. They are necessary to reduce labor-intensive repairs and thereby avoiding expensive costs associated with it, to increase service life, and to avoid a shutdown of the entire installation. State-of-the-art analysis procedures lower the expenditure for the inspection of pumps. They are intended to determine the actual condition of the pump and, if necessary, schedule measures to improve the condition.
During an inspection of pumps, the following items are checked, among other things:
- whether gaskets are good,
- whether wear parts have to be replaced,
- whether the pump control works flawlessly, and
- whether the pipe system and valves do not show any anomalies.
